Reflection
Reflecting on my performance during the Rube Goldberg Project and the Physics of Sports Video, I can see a large increase in maturity, patience, and knowledge. I had used my past experience with my impatience to help me to successfully work with my new group. But, my group did have some areas to amend. For example, my group suffered time loss due to procrastination and a little bit of distraction. Although, we did deliver when it came down to evaluation of the Video.
A couple things I learned about myself is that I work well with others when we all have some job to do; some position to fulfill and that if I am more patient with my demands I am more likely to get what I desire. At one point, my group was in need of audio recording explaining the physics of the aerial and when I asked my members to complete their lines they quickly and diligently finished their work. But, not everything is perfect in the Universe, I do have some things I can improve on. I need to be more organized with the important works as I jeopardized our calculations when I misplaced it in my binder. I also should probably not play too much soccer when I am supposed to be filming. Additionally, I should probably communicate a little better with my members. For instance, I would sometimes leave out important details with our schedule or when I explained certain concepts to my colleagues.
Overall, I enjoyed this project. My work was neat, high quality, and was held in high esteem. I grew from my last project and applied myself. My leadership skills have been honed, but my communication could use some work. I believe with work that meets the standards of this project that I will have even more success in the future.
