Physics of Sports Video
Following the completion, grading, and reflecting of our Rube Goldberg Machines, my STEM class was told of the changing circumstances of our learning and how we would not only be assigned a new topic, but of how we would also be assigned new group members. I had been assigned to a group of lax, but efficient and intelligent young adults. They were very helpful, cooperative, and motivated. And for the task at hand, we had to be. We were going to delve into the amazing behind the scenes look at sports. We would be using physical activity to investigate vertical, horizontal, and total velocity, force, momentum, impulse, and other topics. And, I feel as I look back on the project, my knowledge was expanded and I am quite pleased with the final product.
