Project History
This project immediately followed the first viewings of our completed Physics of Sports Videos(feel free to check those out!), but we did not leap into this project as with the first two. Mr. Williams slowed things down and reminded us of the Engineering Design Cycle. He told us to first research the problem to find a more fulfilling solution. And that's exactly what we did. We completed our research and tried to come up with a solution. But, within my group, communication became a slight roadblock. Everybody was taking their own ideas and keeping them to themselves, which is not a very productive thing to do in group work. But, after a little mediation, things smoothed out. After finding our ultimate solution we began to work on our car.
After completing the car, it was on to the presentation. We would need to script a pitch and show the car's cost efficiency and how well the car actually worked. This wasn't the hardest thing to do. But presenting something requires a bit of practice, so that's what we did. We tried to smooth out any rough patches in the presentation and when the day came, our group did marvelously.
